This track is inspired by a dream I've had in my head since I was about 13. I saw two lovers during the Spanish Inquisition; they were Cathars or keepers of the old religion, and they were burned, together, for their "crimes." I saw them rise above the smoke and become entangled forever. I've given voice to this story in other mediums, but this song takes me to that place of entanglement.
